16 new Bay Area October 2025 reports are now available, reviewing the market through September.

Generally speaking, Bay Area markets were stronger in September, but different markets have been seeing widely varying conditions by price segment, property type, level of affluence, and whether they’re being significantly impacted by the AI boom. Many counties saw both heating and cooling indicators in September, for example, increasing sales and/or luxury home sales, but higher days on market, lower absorption rates and less overbidding - or house markets getting stronger, but condo prices declining - or luxury markets hitting new highs while lower price segments remain flat. Some markets have cooled year over year, but remain quite heated by any normal standard. The details are in the specific reports.
